Meet The Team
Dr Stacey Medway
Chiropractor & Director
After completing a Master of Chiropractic degree at the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic, I came to Dunedin to work as an associate chiropractor for Warren Browne in July 2012. I loved it here so much that I bought the practice and took over in November 2013.
I became a gym instructor and personal trainer after studying at RMIT, Melbourne in 2006/07 and added group fitness instructor to my qualifications when I returned to Wales to study chiropractic.
My background in fitness combined with the training I have completed with TPI
(Titleist Performance Institute) and FICS (International Federation of Sports Chiropractic) leads to a confident and hands-on approach when working with athletes and sports related injuries.
I also really enjoy working with chronic pain clients, particularly those experiencing headaches, migraines, disc and nerve related pain as well as chronic posture related problems.
My aim for the clinic is to expand the services available while always ensuring we provide superior care to the local community.
Dr Susan Pitt
I’m a Chiropractor with a background in Education and initially trained as a human movement & health teacher at Sydney University. After teaching Health Science and P.E. I moved into Special Needs education before qualifying as a Chiropractor at Murdoch University.
I am a patient-focused chiropractor, experienced in the care and management of musculoskeletal complaints utilising various manual techniques. My goal is to help people reach their maximum health potential and educate them in ways of maintaining it.
With a lifelong interest in health and movement, I always make a concerted effort to consistently improve my skills and knowledge base in the pursuit of helping others.
I moved to Dunedin in November 2016 to be part of the team at Knox Rehab Clinic and have settled into life here, especially enjoying the great walks and cycle tracks that are on offer in Otago.
Dr Ruth Hunter
Initially from the UK, I completed my Master of Chiropractic at the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic in 2010. From then, I spent 4 years working in Liverpool at a sports and rehab focused multidisciplinary clinic, working alongside physiotherapists, chiropodists and massage therapists.
I moved to the beautiful New Zealand in 2015 and have spent my first years in Auckland but I am looking forward to exploring Otago, making roots here in Dunedin and spending time on the netball court.
I enjoy the opportunity to help people of all ages, activity levels and needs through chiropractic. I have a special interest in sporting and extremity injuries, especially shoulder injuries.
I believe patient education is vital and endeavour to provide bespoke treatments and information for each individual patient and to help them be an active participant in their recovery.
I am originally from the UK where I completed my Masters of Osteopathy at Swansea University in
2019. Soon after graduating I decided to take the leap and move to New Zealand.
After initially working with both Southern United’s Women and Girls Academy football teams for 2
years, my interests have taken a change in direction. I have found a passion working with those who
are experiencing complex chronic pain as well as an interest in paediatrics and women’s health,
which I want to continue developing.
What I love about Osteopathy is the holistic, global, hands-on approach. I treat everyone I see as an
individual and work together to fit a treatment plan around what clients’ goals are and give guidance
on other aspects of their lives which would be beneficial for their long-term health.
I am a Registered Massage Therapist who has been working in the industry since graduating from Otago Polytechnic in 2016. I hold a Level 5 Certificate in Spa Therapies and stress management as well as a Level 6 Diploma in Advanced Therapeutic Massage. I am also registered with Southern Cross Easy-Claim.
I believe that massage therapy provides a great benefit for all and has a positive effect on a person’s wellbeing. I enjoy all areas of massage and offer a wide variety of skills, specialising in Trigger Point release and remedial massage.
Since December 2018, I have also been working with the Highlanders as well as the Otago rugby team.
I offer sports maintenance, pre / post event massage, myofascial release, Swedish, therapeutic, and pregnancy massage.
After graduating from Otago Polytechnic in 2020 I have enjoyed working with a wide variety of clients as a Massage Therapist.
I am registered with Massage Aotearoa New Zealand, hold a Level 5 Diploma in Wellness and Relaxation Massage, and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Massage Therapy. Continuing to learn to better serve my clients is important to me and I have completed additional training in areas such as Myofascial Release, Manual Lymphatic Drainage and Pregnancy and Postpartum Massage.
My interests as a therapist lie with the interconnectedness of the body and the mind and I love to provide a nurturing, healing space for finding ease. I specialise in pregnancy and postpartum massage and feel honoured to work with women during this very special, and often challenging, time of change.
I offer Swedish, therapeutic, pregnancy and postpartum massage. Myofascial release, cupping and manual lymphatic drainage.
I recently graduated from the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Biomedical Science in Human Nutrition and Metabolism and a Masters in Applied Science in Advanced Nutrition.
I am very excited to be part of the team here at Knox Rehab as a nutritionist. During my time at Knox Rehab I aim to provide my clients the knowledge and skills surrounding good nutrition to increase their health, well-being and overall quality of life. I specialise in sport and performance nutrition as well as chronic inflammation diseases. I was fortunate enough to spend time with the Highlanders Rugby team with regards to nutrition, as well as doing some diet analysis work for the Blues Rugby team. Through my time at university I learned how food and nutrition can aid in the recovery of chronic inflammation diseases and how it can lessen or completely minimise symptoms.
I believe everyone deserves the best quality of life and I strive to educate others on how they can do this and achieve their goals.

Prior to working at KRC, I spent many years in the tech sector.
